Job summary We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our nursing team.
Torcross ward is a busy 8 bedded Coronary Care unit.
We are also a tertiary referral centre for cardiac conditions in the South West .
The patients we care for include those with acute coronary syndrome undergoing PPCI.

Main duties of the job Responsible for co-ordinating and delivering effective quality nursing care following a patient centred model of practice, ensuring the ward runs efficiently.
Assessing the needs, planning, implementing and evaluating the care for a group of patients.
Work as part of the multidisciplinary team ***Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as 'Priority' and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.

Desirable Completed Preceptorship Demonstrable experience of cardiac nursing Qualifications Essential NMC Registered Desirable Mentorship qualification or demonstrable experience Basic Computer skills or computer literate ( ECDL) Relevant cardiac course APTITUDE & ABILITIES Essential Good communication skills, written and verbal, with ability to demonstrate fluency, clarity and effectiveness at all levels.
Ability to prioritise workload Attention to detail
