Noise Consultant

We are looking for a consultant level to join our Noise and Acoustics team, where you will have the opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of exciting and complex project.
Our Noise and Acoustics team undertake work across a variety of sectors from residential, healthcare, education, retail, and commercial.
We also undertake assessment of sustainable energy schemes such as battery storage and solar farms.
Our clients include UK MoD, Sainsburys, Amazon together with a variety of local authorities and building developer clients.
Our projects include House of Pre.
And projects across Europe and North Africa.
Our services include: Environmental noise and vibration assessment, and development of mitigatory measures for buildings, and plant equipment, through standalone, Environmental Statements, or discharge of conditions, and Post-planning building acoustics design work form RIBA Stage 2-6.
Ideal Candidate: Possess an Acoustics degree or closely engineering related subject (including Mathematics, Physics or Music Technology).
Personable and friendly manner Possessing strong communication skills to represent the company to prospective clients and industry contacts.
A drivers licence will be required.
Upon joining the team, you will gain a fast insight into the world of acoustic consultancy, having responsibilities in site and desk duties such as noise measurement surveys, sound insulation testing, 3D noise modelling and report preparation.
You will have the chance to work across a wide range of developments including rural, urban or industrial environments across the Europe and the UK.
As you progress, you will be able to manage projects from start to finish, working alongside some of the UKs most respected architects, developers, engineers and construction teams.
We are involved with the acoustic design of some of the UKs most high-profile construction projects.
In addition to one-to-one mentoring and training within an experienced consultancy team, you will receive a competitive salary in line with industry standards.
