**This Post offers an incentive scheme of £1500 for successful applicants following completion of 2 years service on the Neonatal Unit**The Neonatal Unit at Blackpool currently cares for around 500 infants per year with a variety of neonatal medical problems in Intensive, High Dependency, Special Care, Transitional Care and Outreach.

Main duties of the job The unit employs both qualified adult & paediatric nurses who are expected to work in all the different levels of care within the unit and across transitional care within the unit and within the maternity setting.Successful applicants will have a supportive role to the Nurse in charge, ensuring the needs of the unit are met, assisting the non-registered workforce and students.
The role requires close working with others in the MDT to deliver high quality care to neonates, prioritising and delivering nursing care and assessment as needed.
Successful applicants would be expected to demonstrate high standards of care and set examples of best practise, ensuring patients' safety, privacy and dignity is maintained at all times.
