Neighbourhood Housing Officer (Grade I)

Who You Are We are seeking a highly motivated individual committed to the highest standards of customer care and housing management.
You should possess sound judgment, have the ability to prioritize effectively, and be experienced in using Northgate (SX3) and Contact Manager IT systems.
You will need to handle stressful situations empathetically and effectively, engaging directly with clients via phone, office visits, and home visits, and be comfortable representing the Council in court.
What the Job Involves Managing a neighborhood patch to an exceedingly high standard and involving residents in the management through regular estate inspections.
Proactively addressing potential hazards and executing actions from Fire Risk Assessments.
Ensuring the speedy letting of properties in line with council and national BVPI targets.
Supporting and sustaining tenancies to prevent homelessness by providing general tenancy support to residents.
Undertaking all aspects of tenancy management with sensitivity and effectiveness.
Case managing residents with additional needs.
Taking action concerning breaches of tenancy, removal of squatters, unauthorized occupants, and authorizing successions and assignments, including attending court to give evidence.
Meeting various performance targets.
