Job overview The post holder will be responsible for the continuing development of a high standard of religious, pastoral and spiritual care for Muslim patients, their relatives, Muslim staff and visitors in the OUH NHS Foundation Trust.The post holder will be part of a very experienced and open multi-faith chaplaincy team in a very large NHS Trust.
The scope of work is very large and the Trust covers many regional specialities as well as being a major trauma centre.
Main duties of the job AdvertOxford University Hospitals Foundation NHS Trust – Muslim Chaplain Band + on call payments (to be agreed)This exciting post requires a compassionate and resourceful chaplain with significant pastoral experience.
We are looking for someone who feels a calling to continue the development of a high standard of pastoral, spiritual and religious care for patients, staff and families across a large Trust.The post will be hrs per week with additional on call.
The post-holder will be an integral member of a strong and supportive ecumenical and multi faith chaplaincy team serving across three of the four sites of the Oxford University Hospital Trust, the John Radcliffe Hospital which is a major trauma centre.
the Churchill hospital which is mostly treats cancer and transplant patients the Nuffield Orthopaedic Hospital and Sobell House Hospice.
Also cover for the Horton Hospital and Katherine House Hospice in Banbury.
The on call is for all of the above sites.
