Pure Search are instructed by one of the leading names in the Media & Entertainment space who are looking to grow their Music practice at 1-3PQE.
The Firm / Role: Our client is one of the biggest names in the creative industries, representing some of the biggest names in music from Led Zeppelin and Robbie Williams through to Burna Boy and Idles.
The Music team has a track record of working on some of the most high-profile commercial music matters in the industry.
These include, but are not limited to: Representing a range of independent music publishing companies, record labels, major recording artists and songwriters as well as senior industry executives; Advising in respect of media and music content and IP rights; A range of work across commercial contracts for international artists, major songwriters and producers; Providing strategic advice on live touring work for music concerts on a global scale; Advising in respect of image rights, sponsorship and record catalogues.
About You: You will be an England & Wales qualified Solicitor with between 1-3 years post-qualification experience of commercial contracts.
Previous experience of music, live events, sponsorship or image rights would be beneficial, but is not essential.
You will have a clear passion for music and ideally have taken steps to confirm to yourself that it's a path you want to pursue in your career.
