Job summary Berkshire Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapy Administrator to join their Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Outpatient team based at West Berkshire Community Hospital for a 12 month fixed term contract.
This is a hour a week role and the specifics of this will be discussed at interview.
We are looking for candidates with excellent customer service skills who would enjoy working within a dynamic and friendly successful candidate will need to have excellent communications skills, be organised and flexible, be able to demonstrate their ability to work on their own as well as work in collaboration with others.
They will be responsible for the management of patient referrals and appointments whilst creating an efficient and compassionate environment for our patient's.
The role will involve both patient facing and data inputting aspects and is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to develop their administrative skills Main duties of the job Take responsibility for digital referral management and new patient bookings Liaise with necessary services to support andassist patients as needed, such as patient transport and interpreting services.
Be the first point of contact for welcoming patients and visitors attending the physiotherapy outpatient department Collect data and statistics toassist management in guiding the service direction.
Work flexibly in response to the needs of the patients,service and physiotherapists.
Supporting colleagues to deliver a high quality, effective and compassionate service both virtually and in person.

Person Specification Education/Qualifications/Training Essential NVQ3 or equivalent qualification/experience Basic knowledge of administration and/or office procedures Previous knowledge and experience of working in an office and/or customer care environment, undertaking a full range of administrative duties, including minute-taking Knowledge and experience of using a variety of software programmes/packages
