Job description MOTOR VEHICLE TECHNICIAN / MOT Tester - BOLTON Our client, the best motor trade employer in the North West , is looking to recruit an experienced MOT Tester/TechnicianMUST hold a valid MOT licenceA full UK driving licenceOwn your own tools (desirable)The ability to interact with our customers effectivelyExperience of working in a teamTo be able to act on your own initiative and take responsibility for the quality of your own workTo behave in accordance with our clients core values and principles, and treat people with respect and courtesy.The willingness to constantly learn and be able to improve your own performanceRole: - To conduct MOT inspections, issue MOT documentation, ensure security of MOT certification process and implement the MOT scheme in compliance with Vehicle & Operator Services Agency (VOSA) and company requirements.Tyres, Wheel Alignment, Exhausts, Batteries, Welding / Cutting, Basic & Advanced Suspension and Basic & Advanced Brakes.Must be a qualified Mechanic with a minimum of 4 years' experience).The ideal candidate would be a team player who is happy to help out when not completing MOT tests.Our client can offer excellent working facilities with a competitive salary, together with a host of other employee benefits including:Up to 27 days holidays (based on length of service), plus 8 bank holidaysPension schemeLife assurance coverEmployee reward & recognition schemesAnnual children's Christmas party & staff partyStaff discountsSubsidised prestige car scheme for employeesOnsite parkingStaff canteenSalary: £30k basic £34k +++ OTE (uncapped)Mon to Fri 8:30am to 5:30pm, Saturday 8:30am to 12:30pm (Rota)
