Description Title: Molecular Scientist (Various levels) Location: North West England Duration: Permanent Our client is looking for Molecular Scientists at various levels to join their fast growing team in the North West of England.
Responsibilities: Role Activities include: Experience of Molecular (qPCR) assays including method development and validation is essentialExperience and knowledge of practical aspects of Molecular (qPCR) assay techniques and Method Validation to ICH Q2 R2 guidancePerforming Molecular (qPCR) assays using a variety of analytical platforms.Develop new techniques within laboratory, in line with business need, experience of cell-based assays and dPCRNGS is an advantage.Understanding the theoretical basis of the Molecular assay techniques is essentialAbility to generate and technically review reports.Demonstrate innovative method development as required, drawing on literature as required, in line with business needs and opportunities.Excellent client communication and service.
Requirements; BSc / MSc/ PhD or equivalent in Biology/Chemistry (or related scientific discipline) is essential.Industry experience is essentialAnalysis by Molecular (qPCR) assays is essential, in addition, experience of cell based assays and dPCRNGS is an advantage.Knowledge of Molecular (qPCR) techniques with extensive experience of analysis of biopharmaceuticals, small and/or large molecules.Experience of Molecular assay method development and validation.Comprehensive experience of working in a GxP regulatory laboratory with strong understanding of GMP, GLP and/or GCP principles.Strong method development and validation experience
