The team is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school to ensure pupils are able to learn in a clean and safe environment.A driving licence is essential for this post, as you will work as part of a team cleaning within various schools across the County Borough.
You should be able to work in accordance with agreed schedules, comply with Health and Safety Regulations and work to a high standard.
Support the Cleaning Co-Ordinators in the day to day running of the cleaning service and to attend emergency callouts when required.No formal qualifications are required, however experience in specialist cleaning work, in the use of various powered cleaning equipment, and a working knowledge/understanding of Health and Safety is essential.Neath Port Talbot Council is totally committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
