Metrology Engineer

Metrology Engineer Malvern Competitive Salary My client area a specialist manufacturer of bespoke components and they are looking for a Metrology Engineer to join their existing team.
As a Metrology Engineer your role will focus on operating the CMM, producing PPAPs and quality inspecting produced product to ensure that it meets the industry standards.
Metrology Engineer Responsibilities: Programming the CMM machine to inspect produced parts Creating inspection and PPAP reports Quality inspecting produced parts to ensure that they meet industry standards Driving the continuous improvement of quality systems and measurement analysis systems Provide technical support to the wider engineering team Metrology Engineer Requirements; Previous experience in either a Metrology, Quality or CMM based position is essential Experience with 8D, PPAP and ISIR is advantageous Programming CCM experience is a must Experience with Solidworks would be beneficial but not essential Excellent communication skills are a must Must be a team player Based in Malvern this Metrology Engineer opportunity is offering a competitive salary and is commutable from Kidderminster, Birmingham, Redditch, Hereford, Worcester, Bromsgrove, Droitwich, Cheltenham, Evesham and Pershore.
