About the roleWe have an amazing opportunity to become our Metering Quality Assurance Manager reporting to our Metering Commercial Manager in our Metering Operations function.
You will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the highest levels of quality, safety and compliance across meter installation activity.We're looking for you to support the Metering Commercial Manager in the successful management of contract performance, compliance, and mitigation of commercial risk.
To do this you will deliver training to new metering operatives (internal and external); conduct in person field checks to ensure meter installations are being completed to the correct standards and complete post install site inspections to assess quality and champion health and safety.
Your role will be pivotal in supporting the wider Metering Operations function in achieving the goal of incident free performance and the highest levels of customer experience.
This is a hybrid office and field-based role which requires you to be visible in the field working side by side with both our field teams and partners to develop strong and effective relationships to ensure that there is a one team approach to delivering efficient, high quality, safety first metering related work.About youTo be successful in this new role, we're looking for you to have proven experience in field based technical activity either installing and maintaining assets or management of a team/s carrying out this work.
Its essential that you can demonstrate experience of managing field-based audit and performance assessments which drive performance, action planning and recovery activity where required.You'll have experience of working collaboratively to drive exceptional performance against targets influencing others to deliver against common goals and standards.You'll have excellent data analysis and written/verbal communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels with both internal and external stakeholders.Please note a Full and valid UK Manual driving licence will be required for this role.About usHere are NWG we strive to make Northumbrian Water Group (NWG) a Great Place to Work, for all.
