This role involves working in a dynamic fashion environment, supporting the sales process and coordinating with various departments to ensure the smooth production and delivery of products to clients.
Duties of a Merchandiser As a Merchandiser, you will: Coordinate with customer buyers and merchandisers regarding production and delivery requirements.
Manage the critical path to ensure timely approvals, production, and deliveries.
Create detailed job sheets and raise new orders on internal systems.
Organise final deliveries, including preparing booking requests and packing lists.
Track project progress using business software like Airtable and other tools.
Liaise with internal departments (Sales, Design, Production, and Head of Merchandising) to ensure collaboration and efficiency.
Oversee sample submissions and approvals to meet client specifications.
Skills and Experience of a Merchandiser To succeed as a Merchandiser, you should have: At least 2 years of experience in a merchandising role, preferably with a fashion supplier or retailer.
Proficiency in managing multiple tasks, with a focus on time management and organisation.
Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and internal teams.
Familiarity with software tools for tracking progress and data management.
An ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
It would be beneficial to this role if you also had: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think proactively.
Experience with critical path management.
Access to reliable transportation, as the site is accessible by car, public transport, walking, or cycling.
