Medical Liaison Manager (12 month FTC) The Role: Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced (Senior) Medical Liaison Manager to join their team.
This hybrid role offers an exciting opportunity to represent their medical and scientific presence in the field while also contributing to office-based medical affairs projects.
You will build partnerships with key stakeholders, deliver medical education, and support research and data generation activities.
Key Responsibilities: Field/Customer-Facing (50%): Develop and maintain a territory/KME engagement plan aligned with strategic medical and customer plans.
Build and nurture relationships with key healthcare professionals.
Provide medical and scientific communication through various media channels.
Participate in cross-functional insights teams and support commercial and market access teams.
Develop solutions and materials for field activities.
Assist with complex medical enquiries and capture medical insights.
Coordinate collaborative and investigator-initiated research.
Maintain up-to-date scientific knowledge on relevant disease areas.
Project/Office-Based Medical Affairs (50%): Contribute to strategic brand and portfolio planning.
Develop and execute medical tactical plans.
Implement and monitor scientific projects in compliance with regulations.
Support access to products through health technology appraisals and special access arrangements.
Participate in internal training initiatives.
Review communication materials to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Maintain knowledge of relevant industry Codes and provide mentorship for compliance.
Ensure integrity and compliance with SOPs in all work aspects.
Who You Are: You are a proactive and driven professional with a strong background in Medical Affairs, Medical Information, Research, Pharmacovigilance, Legal, and Pharmaceutical Compliance.
You have excellent leadership and communication skills, with a proven track record in the pharmaceutical industry.
Required Skills: Higher scientific degree or medical/pharmacy qualification (Pharm D, PhD, MBChB, or equivalent).
A Bachelor's, Master's etc.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in field medical affairs; for Senior level, 4 years including a mix of field and office-based experience.
Experience in therapeutic areas related to our client's portfolio is preferred.
Demonstrated leadership and comprehensive knowledge in relevant fields.
Strong team-working and collaboration skills.
Excellent customer-relationship and networking capabilities.
Effective presentation skills for diverse audiences.
Autonomous in medical event organization and project management.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
