Our client started out 40 years ago and have grown to be the European market leader in their field.Reporting to the Service Team Manager, the successful applicant will be expected to maintain, service and repair of vacuum tanker and material handling equipment at their Heywood (Greater Manchester) depot and various customer sites across the UK.This role will be based out of Heywood, near Manchester, but some travel across the UK to various customer sites is required.Overtime and work away allowances are paid for all overnight stays.Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm£35k Basic plus overtime at 1.5 time1 week working away in every 5 4 nights all accommodation and travel covered paid at £25 NET for every night awayThe successful candidate can expect a company culture that promotes work life balance, a commitment to continued learning and development, a fantastic benefits package which includes:* Pension, 5% matched employer contribution,* Free Private medical care scheme including dental and eye care.

* Travel to sites around the UK.Skills & Experience Required:* NVQ Level 3 qualified in Plant, Vehicle Maintenance or similar or proven experience.
* Preferably served a full apprenticeship, but not essential.
* Experienced Plant Fitter, FLT Engineer, Vehicle Technician, HGV Technician, Crane or Hiab technician or similar industry will all be considered for this opportunity.
* Experience in Hydraulics, Pneumatics, 12 and 24volt electrics is advantageous.
* Experience of working in heavy or industrial engineering is preferred.
* Hold a full UK driving Licence.
