We require an experienced mechanical engineer from a design background, knowledge of onsite installation of heating systems would be advantages but not essential.
The nature of this work revolves around radically transforming energy solutions for major public sector buildings.
This includes the installation of 3 megawatt cascade heat pumps.
Candidates with knowledge of these systems would again be advantages but not essential.
This is an opportunity to join a newly formed team, dedicated to these projects, their delivery and development.
Projects such as this, particularly the scale, are unusual to say the least and represent the forefront of modern energy solutions for these institutions.
Responsibilities: · Liaising with various stake holders · Hands on design · Assisting in the development of junior members of staff · Occasional site visits · Liaising with internal contracting teams · Working proactively to enhance own skill set and continued professional development · Managing internal resources What's on offer: Job security is a huge benefit of this role, a place on this framework and the work already won promises a solid pipeline of work for at least the next decade.
