Job DescriptionI am working with a prestige Independent Vehicle Repair Specialist who are looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their highly skilled team.

** This is a very diverse exciting role and also gives the right candidate the opportunity to work on race cars involving race weekends away (motorsport) **Vehicle Technician Role:Carry out servicing, repairs and to diagnose vehicle faults using the latest diagnostic equipmentTo ensure workmanship is of the highest standards to achieve outstanding customer satisfactionMust be aware of and comply with all legal aspects relating both to maintenance and repair of motor vehiclesRecord work carried out, time taken and advise on any additional workAbout you:To be trained to a minimum Level 3 City and Guilds Motor Repair/BTEC/NVQ or equivalent qualificationYou will have previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician or have previous Motorsport experienceTo have excellent communication skills and be able to work well as part of a teamYou will have great attention to detail & enjoy all aspects of your positionTo have a valid UK driving licenceA full training programme will be designed for the successful applicant, to ensure you can work to the highest standards and ultimately progress your careerThis Vehicle Technician position has a £40,000 competitive salary depending on experience BenefitsTechnician5 day working week, plus 1 Saturday morning in 4, 8.30 – 12.30, at the moment due to Covid we do not open on Saturdays, when things improve, we might reintroduce this.Normal day 8am – 5pm1hour lunch20 Days annual leave plus public holidays.£40k – experience permitting, potential to work on race cars which might involve race weekends away – motorsport.
