Manufacturing Operative

My client based in Kendal is looking for a Manufacturing Operative to join their team on a permanent basis.
The role is to work for a specialist company, who are leading the way in the UK market space.
They manufacture high quality products, requiring someone with exceptional attention to detail to meet the demands of their customers.
Previous production/manufacturing experience is not required as full on the job training will be provided for someone who shows a willingness to learn, however due to location, it would be highly desirable for candidates to drive with their own transport.
Duties include: Machine setting and operating Feeding the machines and ensuring they are producing correctly Quality checking all finished items and confidently identifying any defects Basic routine maintenance checks Regular heavy lifting The use of lifting equipment and machinery Following strict health and safety procedures at all times Housekeeping around the site Ability to communicate and work well within a team Attention to detail Salary: £30-£33k Role: Permanent from day one, immediate starts for the right candidate Hours: 4 x 12hr shifts on a continental pattern 2 days 7am-7pm 2 nights 7pm-7am 4 days off The Recruitment Co is an equal opportunities employer CPMiddlesbrough TPBN1_UKTJ
