Internally known as FEO Delivery Managers, you will play a role of a key manager within the business, expected to show leadership in creating and leading business change and work collaboratively across whole of Southern Water.
To lead and influence teams and stakeholders cross-functionally in alignment with Southern Water's values and behaviours to successfully deliver the programme of works associated with the Regulatory FEO.In this fully empowered role, you will be responsible for constructive and collaborative liaison between operational and capital delivery teams in ensuring that all asset releases/handovers have been planned in detail and carefully prepared to minimise compliance risks and the likelihood of aborted asset release.
This will include early and effective escalation of any risks or issues which require addressing to guarantee the desired outcomes.
You will provide reassurance to operations and wider Southern Water key stakeholders that policy and procedure of handover of assets has been properly followed prior to acceptance and operation of capital delivery projects as they are completed.You will be quantifying challenges and risks to the business as a result of delivery or non-delivery of capital schemes, for the purposes of internal discussions and external reporting to regulatory bodies in ensuring that right controls are in place for value, safety, compliance and service risks for an efficient delivery of service by our internal and external service providers.
A highly collaborative role, you will have exposure to work with key internal stakeholders to document all activities undertaken, to support internal verification and validation processes, and to support similar conversations with key external stakeholders such as the DWI.
You will be coordinating several activities in this role, mainly; effective Safe Control of Operation planning to ensure multi-programme and operational risks are balanced, sufficient and effective training of operational staff on new assets and sufficient and effective information and evidence gathering from construction colleagues in response to delivery against legislative milestones and event reporting.
To be successful in this role, you will have an extensive operational knowledge and experience ideally within water treatment however this is not essential as we welcome applicants with proven programme delivery background with a good level of exposure in asset integration.
Strong stakeholder and customer management and leaderships skills with the ability to motivate and drive with problem solving mindset in working towards a highly demanding environment is highly advantageous.
With your experience working within a regulatory background dealing with critical compliance requirement, you will be a confident leader in managing stakeholders at all levels working towards achieving multiple priorities.
Please note this role requires you to be on a on call rota- frequency will be 1 in 8 weeks
