Job Description We are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join our Central Finance team at our Appleton Thorn site. Due to the location of our site you will need to drive to get to and from.
As Management Accountant you will support the central finance department in a variety of tasks such as journal posting and month end reconciliations, as well as business partnering cost centre owners and furthering their finance knowledge and education in a £600m business.

This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30p m offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work with a market leader.
Job responsibilities of Management Accountant include: Financial Reporting: Prepare the financial reporting of central overhead cost centres, both profit and loss and balance sheet reporting Data Entry: Accurately enter financial data into accounting systems and maintain up-to-date financial records.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor actual performance against budgets.
Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative duties such as managing the central mailbox and responding to queries from the wider business Qualifications To apply for the role of Management Accountant you will possess the following skills, experiences and qualifications: GCSEs including Maths and English at grade 5 or above are essential.
AAT Level 4 or equivalent essential.
Part qualified CIMA/ ACCA preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Professional attitude and appearance.
Reliable and punctual.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Full UK Driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
