Our client is seeking a Management Accountant to join their Finance team.
This role will focus on supporting key stakeholders within the finance team, assisting with the monthly financial close process, ensuring accurate reporting in line with IFRS, and managing balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and other key finance tasks.

The finance team plays a critical role in supporting the overall corporate structure, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with industry standards.
* Monthly Financial Close: Assist with the close process, including posting manual journals, processing intercompany transactions, invoices, credit notes, and journal entries (e.g., dividends, funding, loans, and associated interest).
* Intercompany Reconciliations: Manage intercompany reconciliations to ensure completeness and accuracy.
* Bank Reconciliation: Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations to ensure records match and are accurate.
* Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Ensure timely completion and review of balance sheet reconciliations, following up on discrepancies.
* Audit Assistance: Assist in the preparation of statutory packs for central entities and respond to audit queries.
* Internal Controls & Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal controls and support initiatives for continuous improvement.
* Ad-Hoc Reporting: Provide additional management reports and financial analyses when required.
* Process Improvement: Contribute to identifying and implementing initiatives that streamline processes and enhance financial efficiency.
* Continuing Professional Development (CPD): Ensure completion of CPD requirements as per the relevant accounting/finance membership body.
* Qualifications: o Degree in finance/accounting or related discipline from a recognised institution.
o Part-qualified or newly qualified professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, CIMA, or equivalent).
o Strong academic performance in relevant disciplines.
* Experience & Skills: o Experience in accounting under IFRS, particularly IFRS 16 (leases).
o Familiarity with maintaining ledgers for holding companies and head offices.
o Experience working in multi-national organisations at a group level, with expertise in translating foreign currencies.
o Experience with Big4 or top 10 practice firms is advantageous.
o Knowledge of multi-currency transactions and large-scale financial data management.
* Technical Skills: o Proficiency in financial software, particularly SAP and Excel.
o Strong understanding of financial reporting under IFRS and group consolidation.
