Maintenance Support Engineer Team Leader: Annual Salary: £37,8k + Benefits Location: Holyhead, Anglesey Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Join the team as a Maintenance Support Engineer Team Leader at our RAF Valley site and contribute to creating a safe and secure world.
This unique role encompasses responsibilities across Technical Records, Fault Evaluation, Maintenance Support Engineering, and Maintenance Approval Engineering within IMS, as well as supporting the technical section of DASOR's and MAR finding resolution.
Responsibilities of the role: Manage IMS data, including support for data correction, documentation checks, and test script development and execution.
Provide on-site IMS support, mentoring, and issue resolution, while maintaining IMS expertise.
Contribute to IMS report development and address issues directly.
Ensure all personnel are authorised, trained, and comply with safety regulations for maintenance activities.
Collaborate effectively with Maintenance Operations Centre, Production Planning Cell Core Team, and RAF Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) teams.
Act as the primary point of contact for all MSE actions and issues arising from meetings, including PPM meetings.
Required Skills & Qualifications: Training in an Aircraft related discipline to City and Guilds 2675 Level 3 or equivalent, i.e., Aero NVQ Level 3.
Knowledge of MAA Regulatory frameworks.
Proven ability to manage and coordinate a team within a similar sector.
Experience in leading and developing staff, collaborating with team leaders, and engaging with management.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain standard BPSS Clearance.
