What you'll be doing; Assist with the management of CMMS, implementing planned preventative maintenance requirements.
Ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable plant operation including maintaining and compliance with statutory inspections.
Assist with the Management and coordination of equipment maintenance - planned, breakdowns and overhauls within strict budgets Manage and control maintenance subcontractors in line with company policy and procedure.
Assist in the development and implementation of Group maintenance strategic practices.
Monitor and report on budget performance.
What we're looking for; Experience as mechanical fitter / welder in a steam plant environment Capable of preparing technical improvement proposals Experience with working and maintaining high pressure steam & water systems, rotational equipment; driers, centrifuge, chain and screw conveying systems, compressed air and hydraulic systems, chemical and water transfer pumps Able to operate, or train to operate a variety of mobile equipment and fixed plant A high level of fault finding and analysis of failures Presentation skills across all levels including technical report writing Ability to interrogate/understand maintenance problems to provide accurate plant condition information/recommendations Competent problem solver with a practical approach to solving engineering problems Knowledge of current H&S, CDM, and Pressure systems regulations Manual handling is necessary, working in confined spaces and working at heights What's next?
