Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - FMCG Salary: £54,000 Shift: 4on 4off (Days and Nights) Location: Failsworth, Greater Manchester We are recruiting for a market leading food manufacturer who have an opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join the team at their fully automated factory in Manchester.
I am looking for a Maintenance Engineer from an Industrial background that is multi skilled, mechanically or electrical bias, holding an electrical qualification.
The Maintenance Engineer will carry out preventive maintenance with a proactive approach and respond to reactive maintenance to limited downtime.
You would be ensuring all equipment is maintained in line with company standards.
The Maintenance Engineer will also benefit from an excellent training and development programme and will have the chance to develop their skill set.
Skills required for the Maintenance Engineer: Have an electrical engineering qualification.
Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer either electrical or mechanical bias.
Response to equipment breakdowns.
Diagnosing faults and repairing equipment.
Ideally have PLC Fault Finding experience Continuous improvements Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
