This is a fixed term position of 12 months.
The shift pattern for this position is day work with on-call.
Applications are welcomed for one locum post to cover maternity leave. This will be a full-time post (40 hours per week, 10PA) Consultant Obstetrician/Obstetrician & Gynaecologist for a 12 month period based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
The successful applicant will join an established team of consultants providing a comprehensive service to the population of Glasgow.
We are looking for a motivated, forward-thinking colleague who will develop and support new initiatives in the department.
Applicants must have full GMC Registration, a license to practise and be eligible for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register. Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from the date of interview. CESR (Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration) route doctors are only eligible to apply for a substantive consultant post once CESR is awarded. Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training.
