Details We are seeking to recruit a HGV Driver Operative as part of our commercial service to provide effective driving and operative functions to maintain and continuously improve the image of LSSL across Liverpool.
You will be required to drive and operate a range of HGV and other vehicles, in accordance with relevant legislation, LSSL policies and protocols.
You will be required as part of this role to present items for collection to the vehicle, including refuse bins, refuse bags or bulky items and where appropriate safely operate the vehicle mechanism for loading and emptying and return refuse bin to place of origin once emptied.
You will use technical devices such as handheld equipment to record and document activities and assist in the improvement of the service.
As part of this role you will be required to unload collected items from vehicles ensuring waste is processed through the waste transfer station.
You will be required to assist as required to ensure all daily work operations across the commercial service are completed.
Salary £30,060PAClosing date 20/11/2024hours Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week 7:00am to 2:30pm Full Time, Permanent
