Legal Counsel, Leading Insurer

The client: A great opportunity has arisen with a leading global Lloyd's coverholder for an insurance lawyer with generalist legal experience.
This individual will become a crucial member of the legal team, advising senior stakeholders across the business globally.
Key responsibilities Working as part of the global legal department advising senior stakeholders on range of matters.
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating general commercial and insurance specific contracts (TOBAs, delegated authority agreements, distribution, introducer agreements etc) Supporting the business with a range of legal matters including corporate, governance, data privacy etc.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and providing legal training to the business when required.
Liaising with external counsel when required.
The successful candidate Qualified lawyer with 3-6 years' experience as a lawyer gained in-house and or in private practice Solid understanding of insurance law would be highly preferable but not a prerequisite *Please note that PQE is only used as a guide in this case.
