Reports to: Chief Legal Officer Location: United Kingdom (remote) This role is an excellent opportunity for an in-house lawyer with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
As a Legal Counsel, you will support our Chief Legal Officer and play a critical role in providing expert legal support across the company.
What you will do.
Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, such as SaaS contracts, software licences, NDAs and SLAs.
Advising on intellectual property matters, including trademark, copyright, and patent issues.
Assisting with compliance in regulatory areas, especially data protection and privacy law.
Providing legal support to other departments as needed, helping to streamline business processes and mitigate risk.
We would love it if you have the following experience, skills and qualifications.
Qualified solicitor in England and Wales, with 2–3 years PQE.
Essential experience in commercial and technology contracts within a SaaS or tech-focused environment, either in-house or in private practice.
Desirable experience working within a startup or scale-up company.
Strong skills in drafting, negotiation, and clear, effective communication.
Proven problem-solving abilities and resilience under pressure.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage projects independently.
