Job Title: Legal Counsel - ESG Location: London, United Kingdom About the Role: Our client, a top FTSE 30 global company, is looking for an ESG Legal Counsel to join their growing legal team in London.
This role will focus on supporting their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives, helping the company meet high standards for sustainability and ethical practices.
Responsibilities: Support the development and implementation of ESG strategies, ensuring alignment with international regulations and best practices.
Provide legal advice on sustainability-related risks, particularly concerning environmental regulations, supply chain transparency, human rights, and corporate governance.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and policies related to ESG.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess and improve ESG compliance across various business operations.
Candidate Profile: Qualified lawyer with 2-5PQE and experience in ESG law, preferably within an international organization or top-tier law firm.
Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills with a proactive approach to complex legal issues.
