About the Role: As the Lead Software Engineer in Test you will be responsible for the testing strategy for multiple Agile teams developing features for our automotive diagnostic products across our full technology stack.Our products cover a wide range of technologies from Web applications hosted in cloud infrastructure, mobile apps and real time embedded devices combined into an efficient eco-system to provide our end users with a high efficient experience repairing the latest generation of connected vehicles.You will have the authority and responsibility to select the right tools, techniques and methodologies following what you see as best practice to ensure efficient and accurate testing as part of a CI/CD and DevOps process.
As a technical expert on the selected tooling, you will be hands on with the development of testing platform.What you'll be doing:Defining and executing the testing strategy for product development departmentSelecting the right test approach and tooling to minimise waste and optimise efficiency around the testing process including regression testing as part of a CI/CD pipelineSupporting the cross functional agile teams to ensure that features developed for our products meet all the requirements outlined by the product groupQualificationsThe ideal candidate will be experienced in testing different types of Software products as part of an Agile team.
You will have significant experience with automating testing using industry standard techniques.
