Lead Data Architect Worcester based with a balance of home and office working £73,018 - £76,861 per year 35 hours per week We have an opportunity for a Lead Data Architect to join our Technology team based in Worcester.
The main purpose of this role is to act as a bridge between non-technical stakeholders and technical practitioners utilising a broad range of data management disciplines to deliver the data architecture vision for the Group's use of data within the application landscape.
The role of Lead Data Architect will include: Provide technical expertise to support Group Data Architecture Strategy and roadmap development Contribute to the implementation of a Group-wide strategy for data architecture through effective planning, design and implementation Collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, analysts and IT teams end to end to understand business needs and translate them into effective data architecture solutions Manage and maintain effective working relationships, enforcing adherence to architectural standards/principles, product-specific guidelines and usability design standards Design and implement scalable and efficient data architectures that support business goals Carry out data modelling and analysis including delivery of data model artefacts including Enterprise Information Model, Canonical Data Model, Conceptual Data Model, Logical Data Model, Physical Data Models, Data mappings and Data flows Skills and experiences: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology or similar Proven experience as a Data Architect in complex SAP solution deployments working across SAP and non-SAP systems, data and data process analysis Proven experience designing and implementing complex data systems such as data warehouses and reporting / analytics solutions Ability to confidently communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders and technical architects to define data roadmaps Proficiency in data modelling tools to present the data model for all the data domains Ability to think innovatively and devise solutions that address the gap between business needs and technological constraints Why work for us?
