Laser Operator

Job Title: Laser Operator Location: West Bromwich Employment Type: Permanent Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Laser Operator to join our team in West Bromwich on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various laser cutting and punching machines, ensuring high-quality production and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities: Operate and maintain the following machines: Amada Linear Drive 4KW Laser Machine with material handling system (4000 x 2000 x 12mm mild steel capacity) Amada EML 4KW Punch/Laser Combination Machine with forming & tapping facilities and Amada MP30 load/unload system Amada 4KW Laser Cutting/Material Handling System (3000 x 1500 x 12mm mild steel capacity) Set up and adjust machine settings to ensure optimal performance and quality.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines.
Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate production records and reports.
Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency.
Requirements : Previous experience operating laser cutting and punching machines, preferably with Amada equipment.
Strong understanding of machine operation and maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Forklift truck license is highly desirable.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
