Now recruiting for an exciting new role as a Functional Assessor You'll need: Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Paramedic with 1+ years' experience and registered with the NMC/HCPC Full training and equipment will be provided.
So, what does this entail?
Conducting initial reviews, paper-based, face-to-face, video or telephone assessments.
Hybrid- based at home and also work from your nearest assessment via a rota basis.
Observing and reporting on an individual's ability to carry out activities.
Creating comprehensive reports of the evidence gathered for each claimant, each day.
Ensuring enough detail, evidence and justification are given to support reports.
Developing your clinical knowledge and learning about the health conditions which are less familiar to you.
