Job Title: KS3 SEN 1:1 Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Witham Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 per hour Job Duties: Provide one-on-one tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Create individualised learning plans based on student's needs and abilities Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Collaborate with SENCO and other professionals to support student development Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEN Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of the UK National Curriculum Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs Strong behaviour management skills Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs Experience in conducting assessments and writing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) Working Conditions: This role involves working with students in an educational setting, following school hours and term dates.
