Job Description Macklin Care Homes are currently recruiting a full-time Kitchen Assistant to join their friendly, caring, and progressive Our Lady's Care Home.
This is a vital role within the Care Home, assisting the kitchen team to deliver top quality, nutritious and delicious meals to much loved residents.
Key Responsibilities: To Assist the Cook with preparation and serving meals.
Maintaining high standards of hygiene in the kitchen operating within the Care Home under the Nursing Home minimum standards.
Working within the Housekeeping and Laundry teams as and when required.
Ideal candidate: Ability to communicate with the elderly.
Ability to work set hours, flexible to meet the needs of the Care Home as and when required.
Previous experience in a similar position.
Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative.
High standard of personal presentation and attention to detail.
Possess a good standard of verbal and written English. In good general medical health.
Be eligible to work in the UK.

Desired Criteria Experience in a similar Kitchen Assistant or Catering role is desirable.
Required Criteria Ability to communicate with the elderly.
