Key stage 2 Teacher    Full time  Temporary role  September start  QTS is essential    Long- Term Teachers are working with a fantastic academy based in BS13 , who are seeking to appoint a Key stage 2 teacher on a temporary basis from September 2024 to January 2025 .
This is a great opportunity, if you are seeking a role that will allow you to implement your skills of primary education , whilst being able to provide the highest quality of education, within a safe learning environment.    The headteacher is looking for an applicant who can demonstrate to be an excellent role model, someone who is kind, caring and dedicated with a great sense of humour!
It is essential that you have Qualified Teacher status prior to your application and at least 1 years experience teaching in the UK.    About the role:   You will be covering for the key stage 2 class teacher, who is off on long - term sick leave, who will have a phased return in January 2025.
However, you will still be expected to plan your lessons around the UK curriculum and deliver them through a fun, engaging approach.
The school is a predominantly mainstream school, however there are a number of SEND students, who will have EHCP's.
With this being said, you must be able to recognise their individual needs and how you and the class TA's can support them.    You will be working Monday to Friday , between the hours of 8:30am - 3:30pm, term time only.
Once the teacher has returned from sick leave, there may be an opportunity to still be a staff member at the school, either on a supply or long term basis.        Working with Long Term Teachers: We are an independent agency working with Nurseries, Primary, Secondary and Special Schools.
