Job summary A Junior Research Project Support Officer, employed for hours per week, is required to work with the CANDDID team to manage aspects of a grant-funded research project with formal reporting parameters.The CANDDID team are actively working towards various projects in co-production with people who use our services or have lived experience.
Main duties of the job The Junior Research Project Support Officer will be responsible for providing support to the senior clinical studies officer and research study team to ensure efficient project delivery.
The role involves coordinating project activities, maintaining project documentation, facilitating communication among stakeholders, and supporting research initiatives.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field, research, project management.
Proven ability of project management Desirable Masters degree ie MRes or equivalent research qualification Knowledge Essential Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of specific area, acquired through degree/masters level or equivalent experience or training High level of communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organisation A good understanding of the needs and difficulties of adults with neurodevelopmental conditions of all ages, with learning disabilities Proficiency in using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Able to accept and use supervision appropriately and effectively Desirable Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools High standard of report writing Experience Essential Previous experience of working on research studies Able to work independently, reliably and consistently with work agreed and managed at regular intervals Able to accept and use supervision appropriately and effectivel Able to recognise limits of own knowledge and competence Experience in conducting literature reviews and data collection Familiarity with research methodologies and protocols
