Description We are looking for a Junior Data Engineer to join our fast-paced Data Services area.
Working with our Intermediate and Senior Data Engineers in the multi-functional, agile based squad you'll be developing, designing and supporting our new Data platform solution for a deployment in a cloud based environment.

As a Data Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment to continue to develop and support our new data platform solution.

Key Responsibilities As part of the Data Services team, you will work on CDL's high performance business intelligence (BI) and management information solution that enables customers to derive powerful insight and value from the data that they hold.
Built using cloud technology, currently AWS, it provides performance, scalability and flexibility.
We have built a collaborative and creative culture where we employ agile techniques to deliver our pace-setting applications.
We like to work in small, focused groups so you are always learning from people around you and you feel a part of the success of each project you are involved with.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise Knowledge of  AWS.
Knowledge of modern data tools (SQL, Python, GoLang) Knowledge of  Spark – Pyspark Knowledge of Automation Tools (Terraform/Git/Gitlab pipelines/Jmeter) Knowledge of data formats like CSV, Fixed Format, JSON, Parquet, XML Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Benefits Salary The salary for the role of Junior Data Engineer pays up to £34,000p.a .
