It Technician

IT Technician 2 Month Contract Location: Newport Pagnell (Office Based) Rate: £150 per day Are you passionate about IT and looking to kickstart your career in a hands-on, supportive environment?
We're seeking an IT Technician to assist with a desk move project and basic IT tasks.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone local to Newport Pagnell who enjoys practical work and is eager to learn.
About the Role This is not a highly technical position but is perfect for someone enthusiastic about IT and wanting to develop their skills.
Key responsibilities will include: Supporting a desk move project, including setting up and sorting IT equipment and cables.
Providing basic support for IT systems, including desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
Following technical processes and maintaining high security standards.
Assisting the IT team with day-to-day tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Tech Environment While this role doesn't require in-depth technical expertise, exposure to the following technologies will be beneficial for personal development: Windows, macOS, iOS, and Linux operating systems.
Office 365 and remote desktop tools.
Networking fundamentals (IP, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi).
IT ticketing systems such as Deskpro.
Exposure to PowerShell or Bash scripting and Cloud Hybrid infrastructure is a plus.
What We're Looking For Local to Newport Pagnell and able to work on-site 5 days a week.
Interest in IT and technology with a willingness to learn.
Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
Ability to follow detailed processes and work under security restrictions.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
