Package: £29,940 - £35,000 (depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience) Working pattern: AWE operates a 9-day working fortnight.
Let us introduce the role AWE is currently recruiting for an IS&S Assistant Capability Delivery Support Specialist for the IS Modernisation group.
Key Accountabilities: Assist the business area by supporting the Hd of Modernisation and the Leadership team with operational and administrative activity Acting as the point of contact for Hd of Modernisation diary meetings and availability management Assist the business area in supporting project leads and aid the IS&S function to modernise, bringing new Information Technology capabilities to AWE.
Work as part of the Modernisation team supporting the technical leads on enabling the function to create a digitally transformed working environment that AWE needs for the future capabilities.
Support the development and implementation by providing key technical administrative support and ensuring all tasks are completed to deadline.
As part of the business area's supporting team, assist in supporting the teams covering a range of different activities to keep our IT systems running for the business.
Assist the business area support specialist of the IS&S business function advocating the Cyber Security critical mission.
Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and be a great team player.
Key Responsibilities: Support Hd of IS Modernisation and the wider IS Modernisation team with administrative taskings Organisation of time and diaries to ensure delivery targets are met.
Meeting participation and note taking, ensuring follow up actions are completed in a timely manner.
Responsible for providing technical support to IT leads and on reporting on business area.
Preparing presentations and supporting with other administration tasks.
Communicate and share best practice and highlight common problems and joint solutions.
Oversee administrative functions.
Maintain and develop stakeholder relationships.
Ad-hoc admin support to the ISPMO covering any administrative taskings during busy periods The company may require you to fulfil any other reasonable duties aligned to your position based on business demands.

Whilst not to be considered a tick list, we'd like you to have experience in some of the following: Qualification or Chartered membership of a Professional Body relative to the subfunction or service delivery.
Knowledge and proficiency in SharePoint, Office 365 and MS Teams.
Customer Service skills.
Technology and capability understanding.
You'll need to have the ability to work calmly and constructively in a priority changing environment and be able to manage your own workload.

Hybrid working is available for this role on an informal, non-contractual basis.
Typically 2/3 days onsite per week.
