Interim Occupational Therapist

I am currently recruiting for an interim Occupational Therapist on behalf of a large Adult Hospice for a minimum 12 week contract in Rotherham.
The successful candidate MUST have the following: Significant experience as an Occupational Therapist, including direct patient care in a healthcare setting.
Experience working with individuals with complex needs, including palliative care or chronic illness management.
Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Clinical Practice: Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised care plans for patients with palliative care needs.
Deliver therapeutic interventions that enhance patients' ability to perform daily activities and maintain independence.
Work closely with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the Senior Occupational Therapist and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
Participate in case conferences, MDT meetings, and other collaborative discussions to optimize patient outcomes.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the OT service by engaging in audits, research, and service evaluations.
