Job Details ***Bristol-based client, but you can do this assignment 100% remotely*** Our client is looking for a Finance Business Partner to support the business partnering and management accounts function, to work closely with the Corporate Service directorate and, in particular, Digital Services.Required start date: 2nd December - initially for 3 months (likely to be 6 months at least)Paying between £475-£525 a day via Umbrella or PAYE (inside IR35 role)Requires full / valid SC clearance that is valid for the duration of the assignment, which could be until May 2025 initially.Managing two Management Accountants.
Getting involved with preparation for the interim audit and year-end audit.There is also a potential to get involved with the wider programme of work as they migrate to SAP4Hana in April 2025.
They are also working on a business wide spending review and aligning this with the budget-setting process for 25/26.
Key deliverablesBe able to embed quickly into the corporate services directorate as a finance business partner, meeting stakeholders, particularly in the digital area.
Understand what the business drivers are and collaborate on setting budgets for 25/26 and assist in both Interim and Year end Audits.
Prepare monthly reports, provide analysis and insight that links financial reports to business strategies.Key requirements to apply:Full professional qualification in accountancy UK CCAB or CIMA* with current membership of a professional bodyExperience of effective relationships and stakeholder management skills with the ability to persuade, influence and motivate others to engage actively in good financial management.Excellent communication skills and ability to describe complex technical issues in a clear non-technical way, including through report writing and presentation skills.Experience of budget setting in a time-pressured environment using a variety of tools and knowledge and business intelligence.Sound problem-solving skills.
Robust analytical and interpretative skills.
The ability to quickly assimilate and apply new techniques and knowledge.
