Interim Chief Financial Officer

Interim CFO – PE-Backed Professional Services Firm Location: London (2-3 days per week in office) Rate: £950 per day (Outside IR35) Start Date: Immediate We are partnering with a PE-backed professional services firm who are seeking an experienced Interim CFO to provide leadership and stability to their finance function during a period of significant change.
This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong background in both private equity (PE) environments and professional services sectors.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the finance function, ensuring smooth operations during a period of transition.
Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and stakeholders.
Manage financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
Work closely with the PE investors to align financial performance with strategic objectives.
Implement best practices for financial management and control within a professional services context.
Key Requirements: Proven experience as a CFO within a private equity-backed professional services firm.
Strong understanding of PE dynamics, including reporting requirements and working with PE stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to navigate through periods of uncertainty and change.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
Additional Information: Immediate start required.
This role is offered on an Outside IR35 basis.
Circa £950 per day rate.
2-3 days per week required in the London office.
