Your ChallengeWe have a vacancy for an Installer to join our Field Engineering Services team based in Birmingham.What you will doThe role will be to install, refurbish and/or repair a variety of equipment, including traffic signalling and other electrical street equipment such as street lighting, CCTV and barrier systems etc.
to customer specifications.
The successful candidate will also take control of a work site and deliver tasks on time, undertaking a smooth handover to the customer.
Customer service is key to delivery as well as ensuring that QHSSE regulations and procedures are followed at all times.
Although predominantly based in the Birmingham area, there may be a requirement from time to time to work in other Service Centre districts which may involve overnight stays.,Your ProfileIn order to fulfil the role successfully the following are some of the key skills and experience required:GCSE's in English, Maths & Sciences (or equivalent)Sector 8 Accreditation (desirable, however, training will be provided)Basic electrical knowledgeUnderstanding of traffic signal site installation and basic theoryThe ability to work on own as well as part of a teamThe ability to work at heightsAn organised and enthusiastic work ethicFull driving licence,Your BenefitAs well as providing a competitive salary and benefits package, SWARCO actively runs employee opinion surveys as part of our drive to provide a comfortable and supportive working environment.
