Job Overview: We are seeking an Injection Mould Toolmaker / Fitter to join a dynamic team.
As an essential member of the production department, you will be responsible for the manufacture, maintenance, repair, and assembly of injection moulding tools and equipment to ensure the efficient production of close-tolerance injection-moulded components and assemblies for various industries.
Key Responsibilities: Manufacture new tooling, maintain and repair injection moulding tools and equipment to produce close-tolerance injection mould tools, components, and assemblies.
CNC Machining with Milling machines (Programming from 3D Cad files, Setting and Operating) operating either Siemens or Heidenhain controls (conversational programming).
Working from engineering drawings.
EDM (Wire Erosion & Spark Erosion) Programming Setting and Operating CNC EDM machines & Surface Grinding.
Perform scheduled maintenance to ensure machines operate optimally.
Assemble, fit, and adjust tooling components as needed.
Inspect and troubleshoot tools for any issues related to the production of close-tolerance injection mould tools, components, and assemblies.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure tooling.
Contribute to the production of close tolerance injection moulded components.
Qualifications and Requirements: Previous Injection Mould Toolmaker / Fitting experience, manufacturing new Injection Mould tools.
CNC Milling Programming Setting Operating (Siemens and/or Heidenhain controls with Conversational Programming).
EDM Machining Wire Eroding & Spark Eroding.
Grinding Surface Grinding.
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings / 3D CAD files.
Proficiency in injection mould tool manufacture, maintenance, repair, and assembly.
Ability to interpret tooling specifications and adjust components accordingly.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Self-motivated, reliable, and a team player.
