An In-house global retail company is seeking a Legal Counsel- EMEA on a permanent basis.
Our client is seeking a Legal Counsel who will play a pivotal role in guiding the legal framework within a dynamic multinational environment.
The successful Legal Counsel will have the following duties and responsibilities: Draft, structure, and negotiate international distribution, services, logistics and other agreements.
Advise business partners on e-commerce, employment, sales, marketing, IT and other regulatory matters.
Support ethical business practices and uphold corporate governance standards.
Manage external European counsel on employment, competition, real estate, and other legal commercial matters.
Our client operates numerous international retail stores and across global corporate offices.
Person specification: Minimum of 5 years PQE, In-house retail experience within a multinational corporation, Extensive commercial experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts.
Experience advising on employment and real estate matters.
Well versed in board meetings, shareholder resolutions and corporate governance, Experience in managing cross-border legal issues in the EMEA region.
The position requires office attendance in the organisations London office.
Salary on offer for the role is £100,000 per annum.
