Implementation Consultant / Analyst

Are you a hands-on expert in analytics implementation and tagging?
We are looking for a Tagging Implementation Specialist based in the West Midlands to lead the day-to-day implementation of tracking tags and data layers across our websites and mobile apps.
This role is critical to ensuring accurate data collection and enabling robust reporting, analytics, and optimisation for one of the UK's most iconic names in retail and hospitality.
Take full ownership of tagging implementation, handling the end-to-end setup, deployment, and troubleshooting of analytics and marketing tags daily.
Define and document data layer requirements, collaborating closely with developers to ensure proper integration and functionality.
Implement, debug, and validate tracking tags to ensure clean, reliable data flows across all digital platforms.
Continuously monitor and maintain data quality, resolving discrepancies promptly to ensure accuracy in reporting and analysis.
Develop, refine, and enforce best practices for tagging and data layer management.
Collaborate with a third-party digital agency to manage tagging updates and ensure ongoing alignment with broader business objectives.

Proven experience in a similar role, such as Tagging Implementation Specialist , Analytics Implementation Specialist , Web Developer , or Digital Analyst .
Familiarity with web technologies like HTML , CSS , and JavaScript .
Experience supporting A/B and multivariate testing using tools like Optimizely or similar.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects and priorities.
