Overview:
The IAM Specialist is responsible for the technical implementation and management of the company's identity and access management system. Their primary role is to ensure the security and integrity of digital identities and access rights across the organisation. This includes hands-on execution, development and problem-solving through automation. The role reports to the Product Owner for Security Compliance who plays a significant advisory role to the wider business in all matters pertaining to security. At times the IAM Specialist may be directed to complete tasks associated with this broader remit and therefore the role is not limited to Identity Access Management presenting an opportunity for the individual to grow and develop.
Key Responsibilities: Support the PO of Security & Compliance in development and adoption of IAM policies and standards System Design, Implementation & Administration Administration of Identity Manager, Access Manager, Identity Portal & Advanced Authentication Troubleshooting and handling of related incidents/service requests for IAM Development and automation of onboarding & offboarding processes & IaC Access controls & permissions Support security teams with identity governance processes & compliance practices Setup and configure SSO for existing and new applications Setup and configure User Provisioning & de-provisioning (Incl. LCM) Setup and configure drivers for new/existing systems User support and training for identity & access management Understanding of core systems: D365, OCS, Workplace, LinkMobility, NetIQ, AD structure & design Qualifications: A passion for IAM and security as well as a keen interest in IT generally Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience Ideally 3+ years of work experience in the technical domain with demonstrable experience managing digital identities NetIQ skills Azure AD knowledge Active Directory experience EntraConnect knowledge ITIL certification ITSM experience Teamworking skills to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders Written communication skills, for example, writing technical reports Verbal communication skills, including presentation skills, with the ability to communicate with a range of technical and non-technical team members and other relevant individuals Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and assess risks, threats, patterns, and trends Excellent attention to detail An ability to work under pressure, particularly when dealing with escalations and at times of high demand Key Personal Attributes/Behavioural Competencies: Self-driven and independent, yet with a will to ask and understand Relationship building & influencing skills with a high sense of awareness (EQ) and keenness to collaborate Curious and dedicated, focused on delivering business outcomes Effective & confident communication skills – able to succeed in a diverse organisation Able to multi-task and prioritise own workload Ambitious and thrives in a high-paced, international, changing work environment.
