Hygiene Operative (Industrial Cleaning)

Role Purpose Responsible for ensuring that the standards of hygiene and cleanliness within the production environment is achieved on a daily basis, ensuring safe use of industrial cleaning equipment at all times.
Role Requirements Ensuring cleaning of all Industrial machinery, tools, and equipment is carried to the highest standard Cleaning of factory floors, walls, work surfaces and production lines within allocated area Safe use of industrial pressure washers and cleaning equipment Safe use of cleaning materials and chemicals, in line with training Maintain and safely operate tools, equipment, and chemicals Adhering to cleaning instructions and schedules, to ensure tasks meet the required hygiene standards Maintain Industrial Hygiene Standards Completion of daily cleaning tasks, and completion of all relevant documentation and checklists Maintain to Health and Safety Standards Actively participate in all required company training Complying with Company's health and safety rules, and hygiene requirements Carry out any other duties as directed Any other duties as required by management and within the competency of the post holder Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm Pay rate: £9.70/h Requirements Commitment to Company Values; Passion for food, Ambition, Responsibility and Teamwork Passion for Food at forefront of day-to-day performance Ambition to develop self to achieve personal and business goals Responsibility for positive contribution to business Team Work across all levels, departments and teams, willing to go the extra mile Experience working within an Industrial Cleaning Environment preferred Able to work in both chilled and warm environments Manual handling ability and awareness, must be fit and able Meticulous attention to detail essential Commitment to good practice Fluent English, Communicate well in written and oral form with multi-nationals on all levels Ability to multitask and work under own initiative to deliver to deadlines Relationship builder with influencing skills Strong team player Flexible approach to working and committed to night shifts and potential weekend working Benefits 31 days annual leave per year (after probation) Subsidised canteen Values awards program Refer a friend scheme Employee assistance program Cycle to work scheme Discount on products Pension plans Life assurance Training and development
