Hygiene Operative

Overview of role Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme Salary: £28,847.15 Shifts:  Nights, 42 hours per week working Sunday 19:00 – 06:00, Monday 19:00 - 06:00, Tuesday 20:00 – 06:00, Wednesday 20:00 - 06:00 As Hygiene Operative, it is your responsibility to ensure the facilities, equipment and infrastructure on site are cleaned to high standards whilst maintaining a safety-first approach.
You will also be responsible for reporting defects and hazards, issuing and managing deliveries of work wear, and supporting manufacturing to reduce/remove waste.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a cleaning role, preferably industrial, with high standards, good attention to detail and a willingness to work to rigorous procedures.
This is a demanding role in a heavily audited and busy factory environment.
A genuine enthusiasm for hygiene coupled with a positive attitude is essential.
